Since the financial cricis startet in America many have been talking about wether one of the concequences of this cricis will be that America will loose its position in the world as the supreme financial superpower. What is this?
Diversificaiton is strictly a strategy that takes the organisation away from both its existing markets and its existing products. In this sence, it adically increases the organisation’s scope. In fact, much diversification is not as extreme as implied by the closed boxes of the Ansoff growth matrix.

Bow D tends to imply unrelated or conglomerate diversifacation, but a good deal of diversification in practice involves building on relationships with existing products. Paying with my cell-phone?
The future is not fare away when it comes to being able to useing your cell phone as your credit card. It is actually already an option in the capitol of technology, namely Japan. The time where the sales person will be asking “would you like that to be charged on your cell” is not fare away.
What are we waiting for?
This technology is, say experts, relatively simple. It would costs the phone companies such as nokia and sumsung a dollar per phone to install the neccesary technology in the phones.
